Mommy & Me

Infants to 4 years of age meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10-11:30 a.m. It is taught both by Rev. Fr. Peter Balkas and Mr. Dimitri Tobias. We kindly request that you dedicate once in the Fall and once in the Spring to help take care of the younger participants during the lesson. Active parental involvement is encouraged as this group is designed to promote bonding between parent and child, as well as the bond between children and their Faith.

Mommy & Me

Mommy & Me is a program that aims to help teach parents about their special role within the Church and about the rich blessing they have in their children. Therefore this ministry can be seen as a form of Catechism for parents because you will learn more about your Church and Faith as we take your child through his/her first steps in the Church. This will also develop friendships with parents and children.

Mommy & Me also strives to both entertain and teach children the basics of their faith in ways that are appropriate to his or her age. We will learn how to enter the Church, how to do our cross, and how to pray in Church with the hope that these lessons will carry into the Church of the Home.

We will serve a snack at the close of each Mommy & Me session and periodically we will offer crafts for your child to create as well as go on fieldtrips.
