GOYA - Greek Orthodox Youth Association
Jr. GOYA ranges from 6th through 8th grade.
The objective of Jr. GOYA Youth Ministry is to develop a love for the Church and fellowship amongst one another as we strive to better ourselves and the world around us.
GOYA ranges from 9th through 12th grade.
The objective of GOYA is to prepare young Orthodox Christians for the world as leaders and diligent stewards of their community.
Officers
The Jr. GOYA and GOYA are managed by yearly elected officers who manage the monthly meetings, plan the year's activities, and lead their peers. Each Tuesday following the Regular Youth Night the Officers will meet for an Officers' Meeting from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm to discuss and plan the activities of GOYA and J. GOYA. Parental Advisors, the Lay Assistant, and Fr. Peter Balkas oversee the officers.
We offer the following for both Jr. GOYA and GOYA:
Youth Night - Usually the First Monday of the Month (note Calendar for exceptions)
What is Youth Night? Youth Night is a once a month (usually) gathering of all the Children of Youth Ministries for fellowship, prayer, and fun. A meal will be served.
